MRS. MARGARET BITTINGER

ELDON.-Mrs. Margaret Geraldine Bittinger, 46, died at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines at 3 p.m. Sunday after an illness of 10 months. She had been seriously ill two weeks.

The daughter of Albert M. and Stella M. Hellyer Russell, she was born in Eldon November 22, 1902, and had lived in Eldon until 14 years ago, when she moved to Des Moines. She was married July 7, 1926, to Harvey H. Bittinger. To this union was born a son, Richard. She leaves her husband, her parents, and her son, Richard, at home.

Funeral services will be at 2 (??? Tuesday at the) Campbell-Rupp funeral home, with burial in the Eldon cemetery.

Mrs. Margaret Bittinger Passed Away Last Sunday

Mrs. Margaret Geraldine Bittinger, 46, passed away at the Methodist hospital at 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon after an illness of 10 months. She had been in poor health for many years but in the past 10 months she failed quite rapidly, becoming serious about 2 weeks ago.

The daughter of Albert M. and Stella M. Russell, she was born in Eldon, Ia., Nov. 22, 1902, and had lived in Eldon until she entered the State University of Iowa in 1922. She met Harvey H. Bittinger at the University and they were married, July 7, 1926. To this union was born a son Richard, who at the present is pursuing his education at the A.I.B.

Margaret was editor of this paper and previous consolidation of the Highland Park News with The Advertiser two years ago she was editor of the Advertiser for about 5 years. She was quite active in the Highland Park Business Womens Club and was an Eastern Star.

At the request of Mr. and Mrs. Russell the parents, the funeral services were held at Eldon Tuesday afternoon at the Campbell Rupp Funeral Home, with burial in the Eldon cemetery.

She leaves her husband and son of Highland Park and parents at Eldon.
