MRS ELMER HANSHAW.

DOUDS.-Mrs. Elmer E. Hanshaw, 84, died today at 6 a.m. at her home southwest of Douds. She had been in failing health for a year and was critically ill two weeks.

A lifelong resident of this community, she was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by one son, Emmett of Douds; one daughter, Mrs. Jamie Parson of Selma; three brothers, Zadok Haney of Keosauqua, Geroge Haney of Ottumwa and Roy Haney of Douds; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services have been tentatively set for Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Pedrick funeral home here.
