Owen W. Buckles Succumbs at 74

Lifetime Resident of Douds Community Is Survived by Daughter and 2 Half Brothers

Owen W. Buckles died at his home eight miles southwest of Douds about 8 o'clock Sunday morning. He was 74 years old and had spent practically his entire life in that community.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Asa Zeitler, who lives southwest of Douds, two grandsons and two half brothers.

Funeral services were conducted at the Bethel church Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. Richard Fine of Burlington. Burial was at the Troy cemetery.
