Douds Resident Buried Sunday

Estella Jones Dies Thursday at the Home of Her Daughter; Survived by Five Children.

Funeral services for Estella Phoebe Jones, 74, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mt. Moriah church in charge of the Rev. J.C. Austin. Music was furnished by Mrs. Mabel Finney and Mrs. Mabel Daniels accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Lizzie Pollock. Pallbearers were Arch Stump, Frank Williams, Robert McDonough, Harry Williams, Ira Morris and A.R. Greenfield. Burial was in the Mt. Moriah cemetery.

Mrs. Jones died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Beryl Stagers, north of Douds, Thursday evening following a short illness.

She was a resident of the Douds neighborhood many years and had spent almost her entire married life on a farm four miles northeast of Douds. She is survived by five children, Milo, Harold and Mrs. Stagers, all of Douds, George of Chicago and Floyd of Farmington.
