Illness Fatal To Nora Oberg

Services Held Saturday At The Home In Stockport; Survived By Husband, Daughter

Mrs. Nora A. Oberg, 70, wife of A.J. Oberg, Stockport postmaster, died at her home in Stockport Thursday morning at 4:30 following an extended illness.

Nora A. Lucas, daughter of Francis M. and Mary Elizabeth Lucas, was born near Stockport March 30, 1876. She was married to A.J. Oberg Sept. 23, 1903. She was a member of the Stockport Eastern Stars.

Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mildred McAllister, who with her husband, John, live at the family home. Other survivors include the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. H.L. Landess, Elkhart, Ind.; Mrs. C.L. Beswick, Stockport; Dr. Frank Lucas, Soap Lake, Wash.; and Walter Lucas of Beaumont, Tex.

Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at the Oberg residence. Services were in charge of the Rev. T.R. Putman. Burial was in the Spencer cemetery.
