GREENFIELD SERVICES HELD LAST WEEK

Funeral services for Mrs. Raymond E. Greenfield were held at 2 p.m. April 14 at the Pedrick Funeral Home at Douds. The Rev. Lloyd Scheerer of Fairfield conducted the service. Interment was at Mt. Moriah.

Mrs. Oda Belle Greenfield, 36, of Silver Spring, Md., passed away at 11 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 1948, at Washington, D.C. She had suffered since 1939 with a heart ailment, having spent periods in the hospital during the past 15 months.

Oda Belle, daughter of Seymour Clark and Anna Tarrence Clark was born July 22, 1011 in Appanoose County, Iowa, moving to Washington, D.C., in 1932 and marrying Raymond E. Greenfield in 1935.

She has been a life long member of the Christian church.

Surviving are her husband and daughter, Ellen, two sisters, Flossie Salladay and Eva Swartz and a brother, Lloyd, all of Silver Spring and Russell of Middlebury, Vt. She is also survived by a great many other relatives and a host of friends. Her father and mother and brother Orvil preceded her in death.
