DOUDS. - Mrs. Clara Emma Doud's funeral was held at 2 p.m. today at the Pedrick funeral home. The Rev. Mr. McGill of Keosauqua was in charge and burial was in Mt. Moriah cemetery.

Mrs. Doud died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ora Sanford in Douds. She was 78 years old.

She is survived, besides Mrs. Sanford, by a daughter and two sons, Clell of Ogden, Utah, Mrs. Mabel Daniels of Keosauqua, Stanley of Ottumwa; eight grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Ida Lemley of Chicago, a half brother, Frank Clarkson of Penrose, Colo. Her husband died 11 years ago. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Hessie Doud, in 1920.

Mrs. Doud had lived in this community since childhood and was a member of the Douds Methodist church.
