84 Year Old Van Buren County Man Is Survived by Brother; Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Samuel H. Doud, 84 year old resident of Douds, died at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at Mt. Pleasant after being ill about seven months. Surviving is a brother, John Doud of Keosauqua.

Funeral services were conducted at the Pedrick funeral home in Douds at 2 o'clock this afternoon by the Rev. E.K. Parrott. Singers at the final rties(sp) were Mrs. Grace Morrison, Mrs. Mabel Finney, Forrest Hanshaw and C.E. Nicklin, with Mrs. Lizzie Pollock.

The bearers were Wright Sargeant, Harold Morrow, Clyde Ruble, Charles Talbott, Roy Greenfield and Ellsworth Findlay. Burial was at Mt. Moriah cemetery.
