Services Monday For R.L. Doud

Funeral services for Robert Lee Doud, 75, were held Monday afternoon at the Pedrick funeral home in Douds in charge of the Rev. E.K. Parrott.
Music was by Mrs. Mabel Finney and Mrs. Mabel Daniels, accompanied by Miss Janet Hootman.
Burial was at the Mt. Moriah cemetery near Douds. The bearers were S.A. Barker, W.A. Carson, Vane Wiley, Bud Kinzie, O.W. Sanford and John Edwards.
Mr. Doud, a former railroad employee, was a longtime resident of Douds. He died Saturday evening at 9:30 at Mt. Pleasant after suffering a stroke a week ago following a long illness.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Bathan, Keokuk and Mrs. Grace Gilbert and Mrs. Elizabeth Pollock of Douds. Mr. Doud was not married.
