MRS. BERTHA WILLIAMS FUNERAL HELD TUESDAY

DOUDS-Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha M. Williams, 65, were held at the Mt. Moriah church Tuesday, June 8, with the Rev. M.D. Wyatt in charge. Music for the service was by Esther Crist, Mary Laughlin, Gladys Backman, and Mabel Kinney, with Mrs. Ethel Harryman as pianist.

Mrs. Williams died at 1:50 a.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Thompson of Ames. She lived most of her life in the Douds community. Surviving are her husband, Clyde Williams, and two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Thompson and Miss Paula Williams, both of Ames.

Interment was in the Mt. Moriah cemetery. Pall bearers included, Ed Williams, Marvin Laughlin, Frank Williams, Harold Laughlin, Leonard Laughlin and Lester Laughlin.
