Died Unexpectedly Saturday At Pulaski Where He Had Worked All Day Barbering

Funeral services for Frank Wiley, 75, were held Monday, February 11, at the Pedrick funeral home in Douds. The Rev. E.K. Parrott, former pastor of the Douds Methodist church read the service. Music was by Mrs. Grace Morison and Mrs. Mabel Finey accompanied by Mrs. Lizzie Pollock at the piano. Bearers were Charles Benning, John Edwards, Stanley Gire, B.C. Lawson, Ed Harrison and Alva Hunt. Burial was in the Zion Lutheran cemetery.

A longtime resident of Douds, he had been barbering at Pulaski recently and had also maintained a home there. He died at the home in Pulaski Saturday evening. Apparently in his usual good health he had worked all day and eaten his supper. He died shortly after going over to the couch and lying down.

Surviving are his wife, one son, Vane A. Wiley; one brother, George Wiley, all of Douds and a number of nieces and nephews.

DOUDS.-Frank Wiley, 75, died unexpectedly Saturday evening at Pulaski, where he opened a barber shop last year. He had lived in Douds and vicinity most of his life.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Pedrick funeral home in charge of the Rev. E.K. Parrott of Pulaski. Burial was at Zion Lutheran cemetery, northeast of Douds.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Vane, and a brother, George, of Douds.
