MRS. CLARA WHITNEY
BLADENSBURG.-Mrs. Clara B. Whitney, 82, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday at her home north of Blandensburg. She had been ill several weeks.

She was born at Agency December 3, 1865, the daughter of Howard and Amanda Tull. She was married April 12, 1888, to H.W. Whitney, who died December 5, 1934.
Surviving are five sons, Bruce of 131 South Elm street, Ottumwa, Guy L. of Orange, Calif., Hugh of Cantril, Howard of Davenport, Eugene of Tacoma, Wash., and the Rev. Ray S. Whitney of Whick, Ky.; three daughters, Miss Nina Whitney at home, Mrs. Caroline Halferty of Ollie and Miss Ruth Whitney of Waterloo; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One son died in infancy.
The body is t the Campbell-Rupp funeral hom(e) at Eldon.
