Mrs. Ben Whittaker died August 28 at the home of her daughter at the home of her daughter in St. Croix Falls, Wis. She was the former Josie Belle Findlay, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Findlay of Douds. She was born and reared at Douds.

On August 10, 1908, she was united in marriage to Ben Whittaker of Batavia. Several years ago they moved to St. Croix Falls.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter and one grandchild; two brothers, Earl Findlay of Lacrosse, Wis., and Hugh Findlay of Agency; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Nutt of Douds, and several nieces and nephews.
