MILTON. - Edward Charles Fisher, 74, died Tuesday at the Ottumwa hospital after an illness of a year.

the son of Charles and Phoebe Fisher, he was born September 2, 1873, in Clark county, Mo. he was married September 22, 1909, to Sylvia Badgley, who survives.

He also leaves two sons, Lawrence at home and Charles of Batchtown, Ill.; two brothers, John and Clarence of Milton and a sister, Mrs. H.C. Moore also of Milton. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Townsend and Mrs. Mary Black, and a brother, Henry.

He spent his married life on the home farm north of Milton. He was a lifelong member of the Milton Presbyterian church.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fisher home. The Rev. H.C. Irvine of Birmingham will be in charge. Burial will be in the Lebanon cemetery. The body is at the Brown funeral home and will be taken to the Fisher home Thursday morning.
