Octogenarian Dies At Douds
**Handwritten: Feb. 11 1944

Services Sunday for Mrs. Margaret Plowman, 84; Survived by 3 Sons, 2 Daughters.

Mrs. Margaret Plowman, 84 widow of Fred Plowman, died at 6:30 p.m., Friday at her home at Douds after a long illness. She had lived on a farm south of Douds several years.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Pedrick funeral home in Douds in charge of the Rev. E.K. Parrott. Music was by Mrs. Mabel Finney and Mrs. Mabel Daniels, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Lizzie Pollock. Pallbearers were T.O. Nutt, W.A. Carson, Morris Finney, Ora Sanford, S.A. Barker and R.A. Ratcliff. Interment was in the Leando cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Ploss and Mrs. Minnie Hoskin and three sons, Noble, George and Otis Plowman, all of the Douds community, and eight grandchildren, two half sisters, and one half brother.
