On Oct. 13, 1889, at Whittier, Neb., he was united in marriage to Anna V. Bradfield, who survives. Last October they celebrated their golden wedding, a very happy occasion.
Twelve children were born to this union, six sons and six daughters. Mr. Burch came with his family to Birmingham in 1905 and engaged in the mercantile business and with the exception of eight years spent in Oklahoma this has been his home.
In 1909 he united with the Methodist church at Birmingham by confession of faith and remained faithful to Christ and his church until the day of his death. He particularly enjoyed his S.S. class and was never absent from its meetings if at possible to attend.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Birmingham Methodist church in charge of the pastor, Jay N. Waterman, assisted by H.C. Irvine, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Burial in Maple Hill cemetery.
