BIRMINGHAM - Mrs. Blanche Williams, 83, of Agency, died Tuesday noon in Memorial Hospital at Keosauqua, where she had been a patient 16 days.

She was born near Stockport, Aug. 15, 1881, the daughter of George and Mary Johnston Gall. She was married Jan. 8, 1903 to Irving Williams, who survives.

She also leaves three sons, Arthur and Lester Williams of Birmingham and Robert Williams at home in Agency; six daughters, Mrs. Lucile Doughty of Agency, Mrs. Marjorie Gould of Richland, Mrs. Faye Dooley of Amarillo, Tex., Mrs. Beryl Kerr of Douds, Mrs. Beulah Phillips of Keosauqua and Mrs. Marie Kurka of Eldon; 29 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and one brother, George Gall of Baltimore, Md. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

She was a member of the Birmingham Methodist Church and had lived in Van Buren County before moving to Agency three years ago.

The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Birmingham Methodist Church in charge of Ora Reep. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. The body is at the Burch Fuenral Home in Birmingham.
