JOHN W. WARNER, 74, DIES AT BIRMINGHAM

John William Warner, son of Ambrose and Annie Warner, was born on a farm near Stockport, May 31, 1876 where the early years of his life were spent. He died at his home in Birmingham, Feb. 15, 1951 at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 15 days.

On Feb. 27, 1902 he was united in marriage to Julia Harvey at her farm home near Birmingham. They first established their home on a farm near Stockport, later moving into Stockport where they lived for a period of 26 years. A few years ago they came to Birmingham where the remainder of his life was spent.

Mr. Warner was preceded in death by his father, mother and one sister, Lillian Warner Syfert.

Surviving are his widow, four nieces and four nephews.

Music was by Mrs. Edna Morris and Mrs. Mildred Newman, accompanied by Mrs. John Hoffer.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Lacy H. Thompson at the Stockport Methodist church Saturday, Feb. 17.
