Mrs. James Syfert
Lillie Jane Warner, daughter of Ambrose and Annie Warner, was born near Pierceville, Iowa, Oct. 9, 1884, and died at her home, ten miles southeast of Birmingham, Monday morning, May 10, 1943, aged 58 years, 7 months and 1 day.
She was married to James Syfert Oct. 12, 1904, and to them were born eight children, four boys and four girls, all of whom with the husband, survive her. They are Martin, Washington, Iowa, Glen, Fairfield, Mrs. Mrs.(err) Kathryn Beer, Keosauqua, Mrs. Ruth Stansberry, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Rita Topping, Birmingham, Harold, Rex, Mary at home. She is also survived by one brother, John Warner of Stockport, and four grandsons and three granddaughters.
She had been in failing health for some time and had been confined to her bed since November 1942.
Funeral services were held at Miller's Chapel southeast of Birmingham, Wednesday afternoon at 2:00, conducted by Rev. John Leih of Fairfield. Burial in Miller's chapel cemetery.
