STELLA E. SLUTTS

Stella E. Slutts, daughter of Harvey and Catherine Pool Slutts, was born near Kilbourne, Feb. 22, 1869, and departed this life at her home near Kilbourne on Feb. 5, 1953, at the age of 83 years, 11 months, and 5 days.

She was united in marriage with Charles E. Ramsey on July 28, 1886. To this union four children were born. Three preceded her in death: Twin daughters in infancy, and a son, Ross F. Ramsey in 1945. Her husband passed away Aug. 29, 1940. She is survived by one son, Nelson Ramsey of Kilbourne, also four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and four sisters, Emma Ramsey, Birmingham, Bess Oosthoek, Birmingham, Eva Oosthoek, Kilbourne, and Anna Gieger, Aurora, Nebraska. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Her entire life was spent on a farm near Kilbourne, where she leaves a host of friends.
