CHARLES L. MOORE

Charles L. (Cad) Moore, 86, died Monday night, March 22 at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua, where he had been a patient for five days.

He was born Sept. 11, 1878, the son of Charles and Nancy Kisling Moore. He was married to Martha Hootman who preceded him in death Sept. 23, 1956.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Pence of Burlington and Mrs. Poplett of Dunlap, Ill.; two grandchildren and three brothers, Tom of Stockport, Floyd of Birmingham and George of Eldon.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at Birmingham, with Rev. Chester Werft officiating. Burial was in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
