MRS. F.M. MARTIN

Emma I. Campbell was born near Libertyville, Iowa, October 14. 1858, when a small child she moved with her parents to Warsaw, Illinois, where she lived for a short time. Then the family moved back to near Libertyville, where she resided until she was grown. She was united in marriage to Franklin M. Martin, March 8, 1883. To this union were born three sons and four daughters. After their marriage she and her husband moved to Missouri, where they lived for a short time, then moving to Monrovia, Kansas, and later returning to Jefferson county, Iowa. After a time they bought a home near Douds-Leando, in Van Buren county, where they resided at the time of her death. She was a kind mother and good wife. She will be sadly missed by her loved ones. She died Feb. 20, 1909, aged 50 years, 4 months and 24 days.
