HOWARD BILLINGSLEY
**Handwritten: Record Republican 20 April 1967Howard Billingsley, 79, Salem, died Tuesday evening, April 11 at his home.
He was born Feb. 4, 1888, at Hillsboro, the son of John and Evangaline Hampton Billingsley. ON Dec. 13, 1916, he was married to Zefa Nichols, who survives.
The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year.
He lived in Hillsboro and Fairfield until two years ago when he moved to Salem.
Other survivors include six son, John and Raymond, Mt. Pleasant; Walter, Fairfield; Robert of Hillsboro, Kenneth, Gladstone, Ill., and Floyd, Oquawak, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Lee, Olds; Mrs. Edgar Hartley, Hillsboro; Mrs. Barbara McDonald, Oquawka, Ill.; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
