KELLEY E. MELLEN DIES SUNDAY

Bonaparte - Kelley E. Mellen died at the Graham hospital in Keokuk early Sunday morning, May 6. He had not been in good health for some time but had entered the hospital only on the Wednesday preceding his death.

He is survived by his widow, two sons, Carl, who lives on the home farm and Elmer, of Gray Summit, Mo. and one daughter, Mrs. Velma Sturdivant of Donnellson, also four grandchildren. One daughter, Gurli Edith, preceded him in death. Funeral Services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church in Bonaparte, with Rev. J.S. Ellis and Rev. Fay Marriott officiating. Burial was in the Bonaparte cemetery.
