A Terrible Accident.

Farmington News: One of the most frightful accidents that has ever occurred in this community happened Tuesday at Evans' Farm just a short distance west of town when Floyd Evans, a young man, suffered, injuries, which in all probability, result in his death. The young man who is a sufferer from an epileptic malady, was helping his brother clean up a corn field and burn the stalk. It is supposed he was seized with one of his attacks and fell into the fire, which was burning fiercely, and before his brother, who was some distance away could rescue him he was almost cooked alive. His clothing was entirely burned away and the flesh on a large part of his body burned and cleaned off. All that medical science could do was done to relieve his suffering.

Since putting the foregoing in type we learn the young man died Friday and was buried Sunday. - Republican
