--St. Louis papers of recent date contain lengthy obituary notices of the sudden death of Col. Henry Flad, a noted civil engineer of St. Louis. His death was caused by heart disease, and occurred while he was walking on a street talking with friends. He was a close friend of the late Edward C. Rice, whose death recently occurred in Bentonsport. Within the past three weeks Col. Flad had leased for three years the beautiful family residence, in St. Louis, belonging to Mrs. E.C. Rice, of Bentonsport.
