Irvin Lee Nedrow passed away at his home near Douds Tuesday evening, Jan. 27, 1931, at the age of 54 years, 2 months and 12 days. The deceased was the oldest son of Simon P. and Rosannah J. Nedrow. He was born near Douds, at which place he has resided his entire life. Two brothers preceded him in death, Sidney Ellsworth, and an infant.

He was united in marriage Dec. 23, 1879, to Anna B. Manbeck. To this union were born two daughters and two sons, Ruth Alice, Ruby Esther, Lehi Stanley and Ralph Irvin.

There remain to mourn his departure and cherish his memory, his wife, two daughters and one son. Ralph Irvin preceded him in death. There are also three grandchildren, Bernice Alloist, Keith Albert and Murl Alford Smith, one aunt, Mrs. Margaret Sadler, five cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was brought up in a Chrisitan home and united with the Zion Lutheran church March 3, 1895, under the pastorate of Rev. M.L. Mellick, and continued his faith, adorning the gospel of God by an upright, consistent life until God's fingers touched him and he fell asleep. For several years he has been associated with the Farmers and Traders Savings bank of Douds as a director, and for the past three years as vice president which position he filled faithfully and conscientiously. He will be greatly missed by his fellow associates.

The funeral was Friday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran church, in charge of Rev. P.O. Cline, assisted by Rev. J.C. Austin and Rev. William Hager. Burial in Zion Lutheran cemetery.
