John Logan Sadler, Jr., son of J.L. and Frankie Bennett Sadler, was born April 10, 1926, and died at the St. Joseph hospital in Ottumwa, where he had been hastily taken on the evening of the 4th, when he suddenly became ill, the result of a fall on Sept. 30.

Besides his grieved father and mother, three sisters, Fern, Fae and Lena to mourn his demise he leaves his sorrowful grandparents and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Zion Lutheran church Saturday, Oct. 8, at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Wm. Hager, and the body laid to rest in the cemetery near the church.
