PIONEER WOMAN OF DOUDS IS CALLED

Douds, Nov. 5. Mrs. Sarah M. Elsenshon wife of ?.J. Elsensohn of Douds, passed away at her home after a long illness, Sunday Nov. 4. Mrs. Elsensohn was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Marshall, of Selma, at which place she was born on May 17, 1862.

She became a member of the Catholic faith in early life. She was married to ?.J. Elsensohn on Sept. 19, 1880. To this union were born four sons and one daughter, all of whom together with her husband survive. They are, Lawrence of Iowa City, Edwin of Douds, Frank and Will of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Frank Knecht of Douds.

Mrs. Elsensohn is survived also by eighteen grandchildren and by two brothers and three sisters, Jesse Marshall of Stockport; Lewis Marshall of Harrison, Mont.; Mrs. L.F. Parks of Douds, Mrs. Roy Haney of Selma and Mrs. Bert Fisher of Varmey, Mont.

Funeral services were held at Leando, conducted by the Rev. Father Brady of Eldon. Interment was in Leando cemetery.
