MILDRED ANN PLANK

Mildred Ann Plank, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Plank, was born in Minden, Iowa, Dec. 22, 1909, When one year of age Mildred was stricken with infantile paralysis. Everything that human hands could do was done for her. When at Rochester, Minn., for the second time, one of the Mayo brothers said "There was no help that the medical profession could do."

Little Mildred, as she was called by her parents and brother Harold, began failing very rapidly the past ten days, however, Sunday she seemed to be much better and appeared to rest quite well Sunday night, She passed away Monday morning as her mother was lifting her from her little bed. At the time of her death she was 20 years, 5 months and 17 days of age.

Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock conducted by C.V. Allison of the Christian church. Burial at Pulaski.
