Rites For Mrs. Ford

Mrs. Roxanna Kellogg Ford, 74, 104 W. Lowe St., died Thursday at 3:40 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been a patient there since July 29.

Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham.

Mrs. Ford was born Feb. 20, 1903 in Unionville, Mo., the daughter of John and Belle Harper Kellogg. She was reared and educated at Unionville. She was married to Clarence Ford Jan. 8, 1921. They farmed near Lucerne, Mo., and were also engaged in the grocery and meat business.

Mrs. Ford was a member of the United Methodist Church. Her husband preceded her in death July 11, 1972. Surviving are one son, Max Ford, Fairfield Route 3, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
