Leslie Jospeh Roush, infant son of Leonard and Hazel Roush was born May 9, 1915, and died Aug. 23, 1917. Dark and gloomy shadows have fallen across the threshold of Brother and Sister Roush's home and the angel of death hath called little Leslie to be sunbeam of Jesus. For a little more than two years he had filled the home with sunshine and joy. He was a treasure to the parental hearts, the joy of their lives. Now that he has gone from them deep gloom shrouds their home. Now that little Leslie has passed into the realms of bliss, heaven has one more attraction and whenever they turn their hearts heavenward they will doubtless fancy they feel the influence of that little magnet drawing them away from the world and from self to the realms of light and life eternal where sickness, sorrow, weeping, death and goodbyes are known no more forever. Funeral services were held at the home on Friday afternoon Aug. 24, in charge of the pastor Rev. E.E. Hehner, after which interment took place in the Leando cemetery.
