OBITUARIES.

Mrs. Ann Ager was born in County Tyrone, Ireland, July 15, 1813. Came with her parents to the United States in 1819,settling in Franklin county, Pa, Came from there to Ohio, where she was married to John Ager in 1836, where he died in 1852. Her maiden name was Forbes, she being a sister of the late Robert Forbes of near Mt. Zion. She was the mother of 8 children of whom 3 are living, two sons and one daughter. She came to Van Buren county in 1857, where her home had been since.

She died in Bentonsport, after an illness of only 10 hours, Wednesday, March 23, 1898. She was a member of the Presbyterian church for 70 years of the nearly 85 years that she lived. The funeral services were at the Presbyterian church north of Mt. Zion on Friday, Rev. McElhinney preaching, after which the body (Handwritten: laid away in the Forbes Cemetery.)
