Death of Mrs. L.E. Seamster

The Stafford County (Kansas) Capital of May 1, contains an account of the death of Mrs. L.E. Seamster at her home in St. John, that state, who died April 28, 1919. She had resided there for 15 years. Her maiden name was Luella Steele and she was born in Bentonsport, Iowa, July 25, 1857, where she grew to womanhood. Her age was 62 years, 9 months and 3 days. She was married to L.E. Seamster in Van Buren county, Jan'y 9, 1882. To them were born two daughters, Mary and Cloe, the last named dying in infancy. Mary, along with the father and husband, survive. She is also survived by four brothers and several granddaughters. Burial was in the cemetery at St. John.
