MRS. A.S. WRIGHT

Former Farmington Woman Passed Away at Her Home in Seattle, Washington.

Mary E. Wright, the beloved wife of A.S. Wright, died at the family home, 4623 Orcas street, January 3, 1917, aged 6o years. Her death was sudden and painless. The previous morning she was stricken with weakness while getting breakfast and gradually failed until the morning of the 3rd when she passed away with out a struggle. The funeral will be held at the Rainier Valley Undertaking Parlor, Sunday at 1:30 o'clock p m. It will be conducted by Rev. J.W. Kern of the Hillman M.E. church. In erment will be made in the beautiful Washelli cemetery.

Mrs. Wright was born November 7, 1856, at Bentonsport, Iowa. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Smith. On September 11, 1879 she married A.S. Wright and several children have blessed the happy union. About five years ago the Wrights moved to Hillman, where they have lived since and made many friends who greatly esteem them.

Mrs. Wright became early interested in religious work, and at the age of twelve joined the Presbyterian chrrch in her home town. Since then she has been a consistent member of the church and has been active in good works.

The surviving chil ren are three daughters, Mrs. Georgia Schultz, of Los Angeles, and Miss Bess and Miss Winifred Wright who live here. There are also two sons, Claude B. living at Marcus, Washington, and E F., who is a resident of Los Angeles. Mrs. Wright is also survived by a sister in Seymour, Iowa, and a brother, living in Texas. All of the children are grown.

The sympathy of many friends will go out to the bereaved husband and family in their sorrow.
