Death of E.E. Marriott

Word was received by relatives in Vernon from Galesburg, Ill., that Ed Marriott died Christmas day at his home in that city. He was born and grew to womanhood at Vernon and in that vicinity. His wife was Miss Winnie Bowen of Keosauqua, a sister of Mrs. S.D. Fellows, formerly of South Keosauqua, whose home is now in Fairfield, and an aunt of Mr. Lee Fellows of Keosauqua. The wife and several children survive.
