--Mrs. Margaret Bricker Van Seggen died at the home of her son Frederick Van Seggen at Farmington on Nov. 19, 1914, lacking one day of being 86 years old. She was born in Germany but came to America when five years old. She was married to Frederick Van Seggen at New Orleans in 1847, and in that year they located in Van Buren county, near Farmington. She was the mother of 12 children, all living but two. Her husband died las March, aged 95.
