W.V. MOORE.

March 22, 1854, Walter V. Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Moore, was born at Keosauqua, Iowa, his mother, who is 98 years of age, still living in this place. he was married in 1876 to Miss Sallie Ward, at the home of her parents near Bentonsport. He died at Mt. Pleasant March 13, 1912, and was buried in the Purdom cemetery at Keosauqua last Saturday. His wife, two sons, his two sisters, Miss Lida Moore and Mrs. Lucy Disbrow, along with mother, are living. For about 15 years past his home had been in Fairfield. He lacked 9 days of being 58 years of age when death called him. Rev. Perkins had charge of the services at the grave.
