Saturday evening, about 10 o'clock, May 13, 1911, Van B. Norris, aged 32 years, 5 months and 23 days, son of John and Cordelia Norris, died at the parental home in Keosauqua, following confinement to the house for several weeks with organic heart trouble.

He was born in Keosauqua, December 20, 1878, and resided here most of his life, though during the past few years he was in the barber business in Keokuk. He is survived by his parents, and two sisters, Mrs. Curtis McClurg of Milton, and Miss Della Norris, who is at home. Van had many friends where he was know and sincere sympathy goes to the sorrwing parents, sisters and other relatives.

The funeral was held from the home Monday afternoon, Rev. Field assisted by Rev. Perkins in charge, the burial being in Purdom cemetery.
