HENRY DUNN.

Henry Dunn was born in Jefferson county, Iowa, July 19, 1843, and departed this life June 24, 1911, at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 5 days, disease pnuemonia.

He was united in marriage with Miss Emma Nixon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Nexion(sp) of near Utica, January 1, 1867, who along with five children, survives. The children are Mrs. Ira Cox, of Alban, Oregon; Mrs. B.L. Marriott, of Des Moines; John Wesley of Harrisburg, this county; Mrs. Lloyd Beswick, and George Albert of Philbrook, Montana. One child, Samuel Lewis, died in 1876 at the age of 8 years. One sister, Mrs. Sarah Lyon of Des Moines, and one brother, George Dunn of Lawton, Oklahoma, are living.

The funeral was held from the residence in Harrisburg township, June 28, 1911, Rev. Smith, Baptist minister at Bonaparte, in charge of the services. The burial was in the Dibble cemetery.
