Mrs. Campbell Rites Saturday

MT. ZION - Mrs. Charles Campbell, 8, resident of the Mt. Zion Community in Van Buren County, died at 2 a.m.. today at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church north of Keosauqua with the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating. Burial will be in Forbes Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

The daughter of Dr. S.H. and Myrtle Morse Bauman, she was born July 22, 1888, at La Motte. As a child she moved with her parents to Birmingham.

Her marriage to Charles A. Campbel took place Jan. 10, 1912, who died in 1956. They lived on a farm many years in the Mt. Zion Community and operated a commercial orchard.

She was a member of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church and was a member of a number of clubs and organizations in the Keosauqua Community.

Survivors include two sons, Robert, Keosauqua, and Dan, Bettendorf; three daughters, Mrs. Mona Emmert, Jacksonville, Fla.; Margaret Campbell, Iowa City; and Mrs. Ruth Arnold, Tulsa, Okla.

Also ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Dwyer, Pinellas Park, Fla., and Mrs. Ruth Graham, Los Altos, Calif.

She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and a grandson. A memorial has been established for the church, or the donor's favorite charity.
