Lee Dustin Dies at 89

BIRMINGHAM - Lee Dustin, 89, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon in Des Moines where he had been making his home with a grandson, Dustin Silvers.

Dustin was a retired Birmingham farmer and merchant. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Birmingham United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating.

Burial will be in the Bentonsport Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Burch Funeral Home.

Dustin was born July 16, 1883, the son of Wilson W. and Beadie Baldwin Dustin. He was married to Effie Seward who preceded him in death March 19, 1961.

Surviving are four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Alta Johnston, Oskloosa, and Mrs. Hazel Kagey, Wooster, Ohio. One daughter is deceased.
