--Alvie Jay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin C. Morris of Cedar township, Lee county, Iowa, died Sept. 3, 1908, aged 8 years, 5 months and 16 days. Besides his parents he leaves four brothers and one sister to mourn his death. The parents formerly resided in this county, the father being a brother of Mr. Morris, steward of the Van Buren county farm.
