"Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Easter, of South Albia, Saturday morning received the sad intelligence of the death of their son, Hugh, which occurred Friday evening about six o'clock at Cincinnati, Ohio. He was an electrician and while working with the machinery at a large electric plant belonging to the Bullock Electric Co., his arm was caught between the belt and a large fly wheel. he was carried around with the wheel but was rescued and the extent of his injuries was not realized until he had been removed to the hospital where it was discovered that he was hurt internally. He lived an hour after the accient. Clem Easter, of Charleston, W.Va., a brother of the deceased was at once notified and went immediately to Cincinnati and accompanied the remains to the parents' home in Albia. The deceased was an exceptional brilliant young man twenty-two years of age and was rapidly climbing the ladder of success. He had been with the General Electric Company six years and during that time has occupied many positions of trust and responsiblity. Had he lived he would surely have attained high place in his profession, as his life had for its foundation ambition, energy and interity...
