Death of Mrs. Rosalia Greef.

Mrs. Rosalia Greef, aged 79, died Wednesday of last week at the home of her brother-in-law Julius Greef in Pittsburg, Kansas. Stomache trouble caused her death, with which she was afflicted for about a year. She was the widow of the late Hiram F. Greef, prominent for many years as a merchant at Bentonsport, this county, a sister-in-law of Julius Greef and mother of the Greef Bros, and a daughter, so well known and respected by citizens of this county, which was their home until grown to mature years. The birth of the deceased Cologne, Prussia, and she came to this country about 1848 and in 1850, at St. Louis, she was married to Hiram F. Greef, who died at Bentonsport many years ago. She was a good woman and loved by all her acquaintances. The body was taken to Eldora, Iowa, the burial being in the family vault in the cemetery at that place.
