Stella, daughter of Wm. and Milleta Lackey was born in Vernon, Iowa on July 26, 1883 and died in Bonaparte, Iowa, Sunday morning, June 7, 1908, aged 24 years, 10 months and 11 days.

Deceased came to Bonaparte with her parents when she was three years of age and here the remaing years of her life were spent. She leaves to mourn, her parents, sister Bertha and her grandfather, David Davis, besides a host of friends.

The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful, the casket being covered with beautiful flowers.

The music was furnished by a choir composed of Mrs. Ed. Smith, Misses Refa Packer and Tinte Cox; Mrs. P.S. Whiteley pianist.

The pall bearers were: Messrs. John Hamlin, Brown Moore, Stanley Meek, ?urt Glasscock, Del Glasscock and Clark Derr.

The sad funeral service was held at the home on Tuesday, June 9th, at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. Walter Barber of Bussey. The body was laid to rest in the Vernon cemetery.
