MRS. VIOLET ANDERSON

Mrs. Voilet Anderson the daughter of Iowa Kersch and John Brown was born in Bonaparte, Iowa, April 15, 1907. Two and a half years later she moved to Chicago with her parents and younger brother Clarence. She was united in marriage to Ture Anderson in 1926, to this union three children were born: Thorne Robert, Jack Ture and Virginia Beverly. After the death of her husband in an auto accident she lived with her parents. After some time she returned to Bonaparte with her parents and children. She became a member of the Presbyterian church and was active in the Sunshine Ladies' Aid, and also the Ax. She was conscience of social responsibility, and during the war helped to sell bonds and donated 13 pints of blood. She passed away Oct. 14, 1954. She was preceded in death by her husband Ture, sister Virginia and a brother Clarence. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brown and two sons Thorne and Jack, both of Chicago and one daughter, Virginia of Bonaparte.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Azbell Funeral Parlor in Bonaparte. The body was taken to Davenport to be cremated and the ashes were to be interred in Bonaparte cemetery.
