Harry G. Dorson, formerly of Bentonsport, died after a brief illness, Oct. 30, 1900, at his home in southeast Missouri, and was buried there Thursday, Nov. 1. He was born in Lee county, Iowa, Nov. 27, 1868, making his age not quite 32 when he died. He was married to Miss Louise Bragg of Bentonsport, May 5, 1897, who with one child, survives, who will return to Bentonsport and make their home with her father, William Bragg. Mr. Dorson moved with his parents to Bentonsport in 1893, and made his home there until going to Missouri about three years ago where he engaged in zinc mining. His parents, along with several brothers and sisters, still live at Bentonsport. He was a loving husband and dutiful son and was held in high respect by his acquaintances. The stricken wife and other relatives have the sympathy of their many friends.
