Isaac Rigsby was born in Van Buren county April 14, 1844, and died at his home near Keosauqua, Oct. 11, 1902 age 58 years, 7 months and 27 days. He was twice married, his first wife being Olive Robison, who died in 1873. To them were born four daughters, Della who died in 1899, Manda, Lucy and Ollie. His second marriage was to Miss Mary Beatty, in 1875. To them were born three sons and one daughter, Fred, Marion, Clark and Zada. He leaves a wife, three sons and four daughters also three sisters, to mourn their loss. He was a loving husband and father, kind brother and friend. The funeral services were conducted at Center Chapel by Rev. Ingham. Many neighbors and friends were present who felt deep sympathy for the bereaved family.
