Rigsby Rites At Keosauqua

KEOSAUQUA - Mrs. Olive E. Rigsby, 84, Keosauqua, died at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient the past two weeks.

Last rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Keosauqua Christian Church with Raymond Lyons in charge. Burial will be Center Chapel Cemetery. The body is at the Catcott Funeral Home.

Olive E. Rigsby was born March 8, 1889, at Delevan, Ill., to John and Mamie Brownlee Wilson. She moved to Keosauqua when a chld and had lived in the community since.

Her marriage to Clark Rigsby took place March 26, 1929, at Keosauqua. He survives. Mrs. Rigsby was the oldest member of the Keosauqua Christian Church at the time of her death.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rigsby is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edna Pickard, Waldo, Ohio.
